A Poem: Loudly Silent Vibration

Loudly Silent Vibration

by Myesha D. Jenkins ©

Cell phone’s on silent

You’re wanted. You’re needed?

But it’s louder than the ringtone

You get many alerts

Hearing it would hurt?

But it’s louder than the ringtone

Push notifications

Good vibrations?

But it’s louder than the ringtone

It would never be lost

You hold it. It’s the boss?

But it’s louder than the ringtone.

it’s louder than the ringtone.

it’s louder than the ringtone.

it’s louder than the ringtone.

It’s a window to the world.

But you’re already outside.
